Nickelodeon Consumer Products offered a sneak peak of its new toy collections at its New York headquarters Tuesday, in advance of the American International Toy Fair, which begins Feb. 17 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
Manual Torres, senior vice president of global toys and publishing, Nickelodeon Consumer Products, and his consumer products team, gave License! Global an exclusive look at some of the new products that will hit retail shelves this summer and fall for the new TV series “Dora and Friends,” Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Peter Rabbit, Bubble Guppies and SpongeBob SqaurePants.
The newest lines, according to Torres, include Dora and Friends dolls, play sets and role play items from Fisher-Price; Peter Rabbit plush from Gund; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Half-Shell Heroes for preschoolers from Playmates; Bubble Guppies plush, figures and bath toys for preschoolers from Fisher-Price; and SpongeBob remote-control vehicles from NKOK and construction play sets from Mega Blocks.
Products include:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Three new Power Wheels ride-on vehicles from Fisher-Price including a branded Jeep Wrangler, Half-Shell Heroes action figures, vehicles and play sets for preschoolers from Playmates, ninja play sets that attach to walls and connect with a series of zip-lines from Z-Line, a giant 48-inch Michelangelo figure from Jakks Pacific and a figure makers from Cra-Z-Art.
Dora and Friends: Dolls, including a talking doll and a smartphone doll, as well as plush sing-it-together microphone, guitar, charm bracelet and play sets from Fisher-Price.
Peter Rabbit: Beanies, plush, talking plush, bath toys, play sets, a messenger bag and an interactive doll from Cartwheel Kids and plush from Gund featuring Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny and Lily Bobtail.
Bubble Guppies: Bath toys, Bubbletucky Market play set, dolls, Snap-N-Dress dress-up sets and a guitar from Fisher-Price.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Figures, talking action figures, collectible figures, a Talking Krabby Patty Maker set, plush and talking plush from Just Play; Glove World play set, vehicles and action figures from Fisher-Price Imaginext; remote-control vehicles from NKOK; and construction vehicles and play sets from Mega Bloks.
