Nickelodeon U.K. is taking the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the road with a nationwide tour that will see the Turtles’ fighting vehicle, the Shellraiser, visit 10 ASDA stores this month.

Brought to life for the first time, the Shellraiser will travel across the U.K. in a series of live events created in partnership with Sky Go, that will also give kids the chance to train as a ninja, test out Flair’s line of action figures and play sets and watch episodes of the hit series.

Kids who attend the ASDA events will learn non-contact martial arts moves from film stunt man Mike Shenton in the Dojo Training Experience to become a fully certified ninja.

“Being able to climb on-board the Shellraiser will be a dream come true for many kids in the U.K.,” says Mark Kingston, general manager and senior vice president, Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products, EMEA and Australia. “The success of Turtles in the toy market to date has been outstanding, but being able to physically bring the property to so many children is only going to take the brand further.”

In addition to a dedicated website, the Shellraiser Tour will also feature an on-air competition for children to win a visit at their school from the Turtles themselves in the Shellraiser, complete with a Booyakasha pizza lunch.
