The Canada-based production house is further extending its preschool brand through licensing and broadcast.

Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana has announced three new licensing agents and two new broadcast partners for its preschool animation “Little Charmers.”

FranceTV Distribution will represent the series in France, where it airs on the France 5 channel in the Zouzous programming block each morning.

In Italy, Discovery Italia will manage the licensing and merchandising rights for the property; while Megalicense will manage the show’s licensing in Russia and CIS.

“Little Charmers” (80x11) is a girls’ preschool series co-produced by Nelvana and Spin Master. The series debuted in January on Nickelodeon in the U.S. and Treehouse in Canada and has since been sold to broadcasters around the world. Spin Master launched a full toy range across all major retailers this fall, with additional partners on board including Scholastic, Rubie’s Costume Co., Baby Boom Consumer Products and Bakery Crafts for ranges that will hit market next year.
