Multi-year exhibition tour will kick off in Singapore this June before heading to the U.S.

NBCUniversal International Studios has partnered with Imagine Exhibitions to launch a new international exhibition tour, titled “Downton Abbey: The Exhibition.”

The multi-year, full-immersive experience will aim to connect visitors with the series’ characters (such as Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville and Dame Maggie Smith), costumes and locations as well as showcase never-before-seen footage and historic moments. The exhibition will also highlight all aspects of the post-Edwardian period in which the television series is set.

The exhibition also follows the success of “Dressing Downton,” a costume exhibition that toured the U.S. last year.

“Seen in over 250 territories, ‘Downton Abbey’ is a global phenomenon and viewers all around the world continue to ask for more,” says Michael Edelstein, president, NBCUniversal International Studios. “‘Downton Abbey: The Exhibition’ allows this incredible legacy to live on by offering a multi-million dollar museum quality experience that will delight fans, ultimately extending the connection they have with ‘Downton’s’ compelling characters and storylines. We are excited to expand the brand in a manner that few TV series could ever dream of doing.”

“Downton Abbey: The Exhibition” will debut on June 17, 2017, in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands. After, the exhibition will travel throughout the U.S. in 2018 and beyond.

Additional locations, as well as ticket sales, will be announced at a later date.
