ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures have been commissioned by CITV to make a third series of “Thunderbirds Are Go.”

The show’s third season is slated to air next year.

In addition to season three, “Thunderbirds Are Go” has been acquired by DHX Media and will premiere on its Family CHRGD and Family Channels later this month. In the U.S., the series will debut exclusively on Amazon Prime, April 22, with a sneak peak of the one-hour special, April 15.

“Thunderbirds Are Go” has already been sold to more than 40 countries worldwide. The series is a reinvention of the original “Thunderbirds” and follows the five Tracy brothers as they pilot their Thunderbird vehicles across various locations and environments to perform rescues across the globe.
