MIPCOM: Discovery Kids Brings ‘Hi-5’ to LatAm

Discovery Kids Latin America has acquired the format for the children’s television series, “Hi-5.”

In the new two-part deal, Discovery Kids Latin America will expand on the popularity of the "Hi-5" series by offering new seasons of the Australian version and developing a localized Spanish and Portuguese version with regional cast members from Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina.

Additionally, Discovery Kids Latin America has acquired the exclusive pay-TV and digital rights to the brand-new “Hi-5” seasons 14 and 15, which will begin to air in November of this year.
