Mercury Filmworks, Cartoon Saloon Form JV

Mercury Filmworks and Cartoon Saloon have joined forces to create a new, 2D-focused animation studio in Ireland, called Lighthouse Studios.

The new studio will aim to provide high-quality children’s and family animated content development and end-to-end production services–ranging from script writing to post production services–to a global client base.

In the coming weeks, Lighthouse Studios plans to announce development and production projects as well as key hires in production management, designers, animators and more.

Additionally, the joint venture will be supported by Ireland’s Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
