Russian animated series "Masha and the Bear" is gaining ground in Italy with new broadcast deals and licensed product. The brand is represented in the region for broadcasting and licensing by Ink Global.

Both RAI YoYo FTA TV and Dea Junior Pay TV have picked up the show and Maurizio Distefano, Italian licensing sub-agent for the brand, has signed a string of deals. New licensees include Accademia (back-to-schhol and gift items), Clementoni (toys), Dolfin (confectionary), Grabo (balloons), IN.TE.SUD. (apparel), Jaxo Tirabasso (accessories), Lisciani (puzzles and toys), Modecor (cake decorations), Multiprint (play prints), World Cart (tissues) and Sicem (apparel).
