Children’s animation property “Masha and the Bear” is heading outdoors in Italy, thanks to two new deals brokered by Maurizio Distefano Licesning.

Perletti has created a range of “Masha and the Bear” umbrellas, rain boots and ponchos available at Italian specialty and high street stores and online, available now.

“‘Masha and the Bear’ is a funny, charming and beautifully designed property that has enormous appeal to audiences worldwide,” says Matteo Manenti, Perletti. “We’re thrilled to be awarded this licence and certain that Masha umbrellas will be a big hit with children and parents across Italy.”

Denver Bike, which manufactures and sells more than 650,000 bicycles per year, will now offer “Masha and the Bear”-branded children’s bikes in a range of wheel sizes, beginning from 10-inches. The bikes, which are currently available at specialty stores, children’s stores and online in Italy, will also include training wheels, mudguards, horn and handlebar pads and a basket.

“As a company with strong reputation in licensed products, we’re delighted to be working with one of the most entertaining and appealing children’s brands of recent years,” says Guiseppe Beraudo, Denver Bike. “The lively, energetic and fun-loving Masha and her friend are perfect for a range of colourful children’s bikes.”

“Yet again this fast-moving property has attracted two high quality licensees. Denver, which has a proven track record in the production of high-quality licensed bicycles, has brought out a delightful range, while Perletti’s wonderful umbrellas perfectly capture the spirit of this funny and charming brand,” says Maurizio Distefano, founder and director, Maurizio Distefano Licensing.
