The newly established partnership will aim to pair the creative minds at Marvel and Square Enix to create “one of the most powerful alliances” in interactive entertainment. Furthermore,
The Avengers
will kick off the agreement with a new game that is being developed by Crystal Dynamics in collaboration with Eidos-Montréal.
The new
Avengers
game will feature the franchise’s host of characters, environments and iconic moments. The game will also feature a completely original story, which will introduce a universe that gamers can play in for years to come.

The Avengers
project and other games will be announced in 2018.
