‘The Magic School Bus’ Drives to Netflix

90’s animated series will revamp for Netflix next year.

9 Story Media Group has partnered with Scholastic and Netflix to produce a new version of the 1990’s animated series “The Magic School Bus.”

The new series, which is based on the classic Scholastic book series, will launch in fall 2017 as a global Netflix original series.

The original “The Magic School Bus” series debuted on the PBS network in 1994.

“The original ‘Magic School Bus’ series was one of the first series that I produced, 20 years ago,” says Vince Commisso, president and chief executive officer, 9 Story Media Group. “I have a deep connection to the brand a profound respect for its vision. We are so excited to work with Scholastic and Netflix and remake this wildly popular series for a whole new generation of kids.”
