Iowa-based textile manufacturer Heritage Lace is creating a line of home décor items inspired by the British television series “Downton Abbey,” in a deal brokered by Knockout Licensing.

“Heritage Lace combines old world attention to detail with modern American manufacturing innovations, so they make a wonderful fit for our Downton Abbey licensing program,” says Carole Postal, co-president, Knockout Licensing.

Heritage Lace is planning a full line of products that will include table textiles, kitchen textiles, window treatments, pillows, shower curtains, gift accessories and women’s lace accessories. The line will launch in the U.S. at the beginning of 2014.

“Our Downton Abbey products are inspired by the rich cast of characters–both upstairs and down. Whether you lean toward fancy and refined or clean and simple, the 2014 Downton product line is fun, fresh and certainly relevant to today’s discerning tastes,” says Daniel De Cook, co-chief executive officer, Heritage Lace.
