‘Hey Duggee’ Returns to CBeebies

BBC Worldwide has commissioned a second season of the TV animated series “Hey Duggee” from Studio AKA, for CBeebies international channels.

BBC Worldwide has commissioned a second season of the TV animated series “Hey Duggee” from Studio AKA, for CBeebies international channels.

Kay Benbow, controller, CBeebies U.K., also ordered a second season for the channel.

The first season of “Hey Duggee” has been a success on CBeebies’ channels and has sold to more than 80 territories worldwide including France Television, ABC Australia, SVT Sweden and Nickelodeon in the U.S.

Additionally, “Hey Duggee” has been view more than 22 million times on the BBC iPlayer. The brand has also signed multiple license partnerships including with master toy partner Golden Bear and Penguin Books.

A release date for the second 52-episode season has not been announced.
