Created by The Martin Agency and brokered with Rovio through Born Licensing, GEICO’s latest commercial works closely with the rights holders to bring the ‘Angry Birds’ brand into a real-life setting.

“I’m a huge fan of GEICO’s campaigns and have wanted to work with them since I started the company back in 2014,” says David Born, director Born Licensing. “GEICO and The Martin Agency truly understand the power of using famous characters in advertising and it was a joy working with them and Rovio Entertainment on this hilarious spot.”

The commercial marks the third time GEICO has featured animated characters in its advertisements – working with Disney’s Animal of “The Muppets and Hanna-Barbera's Yogi Bear in previous shorts – the new TV spot was first aired during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which drew 25.4 million viewers to the NBC coverage of the event.
