FXX Plans 'Deadpool' Animated Series

FXX has ordered a 10-episode series based on Marvel’s Deadpool franchise and character.

The new series is slated to be written by actor Donald Glover and his brother Stephen. The duo is also slated to executive produce and serve as showrunners for the animated adult action-comedy.

The unnamed title is currently scheduled to launch in 2018 and also marks FX’s second collaboration with Marvel TV.
