EXCLUSIVE: Disney’s ‘Whisker Haven’ Launches

Children’s animated series debuts new season, consumer products.

Disney Publishing Worldwide has released season two of “Whisker Haven Tales with the Palace Pets” on the Disney Junior app and will support the launch with a range of consumer products.

New episodes will be released on the Disney Junior app every Wednesday through April 13, with additional episodes rolling out later this year. The new season will also air on Disney Channel and Disney Junior beginning March 23 with the Easter special “Hearts, Hooves, Eggs!”

Additionally, the second season will be supported with new figures and a play set themed after new episodes. LEGO will also debut a royal castle featuring Windflower, Dreamy and Pumpkin’s Carriage that includes Cinderella’s puppy.

“Whisker Haven” first debuted in North American in 2013 as a series of books from Disney Publishing Worldwide. Since then, it has developed into a mobile app, as well as an online experience, toys and comics.

Season two of the series will include 10 three-minute episodes and three seasonal specials timed to Easter, Halloween and the Winter Holidays. The season will focus on themes of adventure, friendship and humor and will celebrate the “Royal Heart of friendship” in each story. The series will also introduce more royal pets including Aurora’s fox, Belle’s puppy and Jasmine’s elephant, as well as expand on characters and stories from the first season.
