Entertainment company unveils plans to expand “Peppa Pig” and “PJ Masks” with new episodes and merchandise.

Entertainment One has begun production on a new season of “Peppa Pig” as well as tapped a roster of licensees to produce soft lines inspired by “PJ Masks.”

The new season will bring the total number of “Peppa Pig” episodes to 381.

The 117 new episodes currently in production are set to launch globally in spring 2019 to coincide with the brand’s 15th anniversary and will secure a pipeline of “Peppa” content for the following four years.

Meanwhile, new episodes from season seven will continue to roll out on air through 2018.

The new products will span domestics, home furnishings, wall coverings, bolt fabric and more and will roll out at U.S.-based mass market retailers throughout the year.

New partners include:

  • Baby Boom for toddler bedding;

  • Delta for upholstered furniture and storage organization;

  • FAB for piggy banks and mugs;

  • Franco for juvenile bedding;

  • Idea Nuova for slumber sets, furniture, storage, novelty lighting and wall décor;

  • Springs Creative for fabric by the yard;

  • York Wallcoverings for wall decals;

  • Zak for drinkware and feeding merchandise; and

  • Nuk for toddler sippy cups.

“Consumer demand for ‘PJ Masks’ product continues to soar across all relevant categories,” says Joan Grasso, vice president, licensing, North America, eOne Family. “We’re thrilled to be working with such a broad range of best-in-class partners to give fans so many wonderful opportunities to immerse themselves in the action-packed series.”
