Emirates Spends the Holidays with The Snowman

A customized version of the holiday film The Snowman and The Snowdog has been released specifically for the U.K.’s Emirates Greenwich Peninsula Terminal cable car.

Passengers can enjoy a re-worked version of the classic holiday movie that now features a “flying in the air” sequence that takes place over London landmarks like the O2, the Emirates Airline, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Greenwich Royal Naval College and the Thames Barrier, which is timed as passengers themselves fly over the Thames.

Further enhancing the experience, through Jan. 4, visitors to the terminal will find a Christmas experience as well, complete with more than 15,000 children’s goodie bags to be given out. Families can also have their photo taken with a life-size model of the Snowman.

“The Snowman and The Snowdog is an iconic Christmas film, and we are delighted to be able to bring the story to life for our passengers as they fly like the characters over our capital city,” says Danny Price, head, Emirates Airline.
