DHX Media has sold content from its Umigo online world, which helps helps early elementary-age children discover the fundamentals of math, to VME stations across the U.S. and online for broadcast in Spanish.

The brand is created in association with WTTW Chicago National Productions and is funded in part by a U.S. Department of Education Ready to Learn grant.

Included in the VME deal are 20 3-minute music videos, eight 9-minute appisodes and one 8-minute short.

Umigo content is currently available online and at more than 70 children’s museums and libraries across the U.S. This is first time that content from Umigo will be available for broadcast in Spanish. The content will also be available on the VME website.
