In celebration of the comic strips “Oor Wullie” and “The Broons’” 80th anniversary, DC Thomson has unveiled a bronze sculpture of Oor Wullie in Dundee, Scotland, and is hosting The Broons Awards in Glasgow tomorrow.

The Oor Wullie character has been cast in a four foot-tall bronze sculpture by artist Malcom Robertson and is located on the wall outside The McManus Galleries.
