FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment’s Danger Mouse made an appearance yesterday at the U.K.’s iconic No. 11 Downing Street at the annual Children’s Christmas Party for the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

The national charitable organization grants wishes for seriously and terminally ill children, and provides entertainment in hospitals and hospices across the U.K. This is the sixth year that Starlight has taken part in No. 11 Downing Street’s Children’s Christmas Party, and the third year that FremantleMedia has supplied one of its characters for the event.

The celebrity-attended event, which played host to 45 children that are struck with illness, included Rupert Grint, singer/songwriter Geri Horner, “Bake Off” winner Nadiya Hussain, “I’m a Celebrity” contestant Brian Friedman and many more.

“We are absolutely delighted that Danger Mouse was able to take a break from saving the world from the dreaded Baron von Greenback to support this wonderful party which brings great joy to seriously ill children and their families. We are thrilled that FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment continues to partner with Starlight Children’s Foundation at this special seasonal event,” says Tessa Moore, senior vice president, global brand management, FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.
