To-date the franchise, based on the graphic novel by James O’Barr has spawned four movies, a TV series and comic books.
Upper Deck is planning a full portfolio of products based not only on the original film, but the movie sequels, TV series and comic books. The program will include trading cards, board games, limited edition posters, miniature figurines, collectible art and more.
The company will release limited edition posters this year and is planning a trading card set and new game appearance for 2015.
"There is a very hard core and passionate fan base for The Crow, which we greatly appreciate," says Jason Brenner, entertainment brand manager, Upper Deck. "We will be taking great care to keep true to the movie and comic characters, and plan to uphold this legacy to its fullest."
