Corus Entertainment has completed its $2.65 billion acquisition of Shaw Media.
Shaw Media’s assets consist of 19 television channels including Food Network Canada, HGTV Canada, Slice, Lifetime Canada, History and more, as well as conventional stations across Canada.
The acquisition adds to Corus’ existing portfolio of brands and includes 45 television services, 15 conventional TV channels, 39 radio stations, a global content business and digital assets.
