China's Alibaba Picks Up DHX Shows

DHX Media will provide more than 2,500 half-hours of content to Alibaba Group’s video-on-demand service in China.

The deal includes “Teletubbies,” “Caillou,” “Paddington Bear,” “Super WHY!”, “Rastamouse,” “Johnny Test” and “Martha Speaks,” among other DHX titles.

“We are very happy to provide extensive kids' and family content from our library for this new service in China,” says Josh Scherba, senior vice president, distribution, DHX Media. “This deal underscores our position as a go-to distributor for on-demand services globally.”
