Brandgenuity has launched the merchandising program for FX’s animated adult spy series “Archer,” now in its fourth season.

Charter licensees for the series include Abrams Books (calendars), Bioworld (apparel), Buckle-Down (belts, key chains and wallets), Cryptozoic (board games and trading cards), Hyp (hats and other headwear), ICUP (glassware), Scorpio (posters) and Factory Entertainment (plush, bobbleheads and action figures).

“‘Archer’s’ double-digit ratings growth makes this the perfect time to roll out a licensing program,” says Jay Asher, partner, Brandgenuity. “The show’s outrageous humor and strong popularity with young men makes it a natural for casual apparel, fashion accessories, collectibles, gaming and other lifestyle applications.”

“Archer” follows the self-absorbed employees of a secret spy agency as they fight crime, snipe at each other and engage in inappropriate workplace behavior.

“‘Archer’ has never been more popular with viewers, and the show’s dedicated fan base is definitely primed to celebrate the lifestyle of Sterling Archer and his colleagues,” says Eric Schrier, executive vice president, FX Productions, and head of series development, FX. “We are thrilled with the roster of top licensing partners that Brandgenuity has helped us to bring on board, and look forward to the exciting new products they will be rolling out in the months to come.”
