Re-booted Cartoon Network series inspires live-action game show, which will debut this week.
EUROPE–Cartoon Network will debut its new, live-action game show, “Ben 10 Challenge,” in the U.K. this Friday, Oct. 13.
Hosted by Nigel Clarke, the new game show will feature two teams of three–two kid fans and one adult–to take on a range of physical and mental challenges, testing their speed and strength as well as other “Ben 10” villain-conquering skills. The game show will also test their knowledge of the series. After completing three contests, the team with the highest score will go into a final challenge against the clock.
“I was so excited when Cartoon Network asked me to be the host of ‘Ben 10 Challenge.’ The set for this game show is absolutely incredible and we’ve got loads of fun interactive games that will test both the contestants’ physical strengths and knowledge of ‘Ben 10,’” says Clarke. “My ultimate favorite game is when a member from each team gets transformed into the ‘Ben 10’ alien Stink Fly and they must fly through the air to collect points for their team–it’s so much fun to watch! I think that both new and existing fans of the ‘Ben 10’ animation are going to love ‘Ben 10 Challenge’ and will get behind the teams and want them to succeed.”
“Ben 10 Challenge” will launch this Friday, Oct. 13, at 4 p.m. local time on Cartoon Network. A new episode of the series will roll out every Friday afterward.
