ABC Plans Captain America Spin-Off

ABC will air a Captain America spin-off series based on the female lead in the films Agent Peggy Carter.

Hayley Atwell will reprise her film role as Peggy Carter in "Marvel's Agent Carter," which will follow the character as she finds herself marginalized after the war when the men return home from fighting abroad.

Working for the covert Strategic Scientific Reserve, Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark, all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers.
