'Dino Dan' DVD Features AR T-Rex

The newest “Dino Dan” home video from NCircle Entertainment works in conjunction with an augmented reality app.

After buying the holiday DVD “Dino Dan–Twas A Dinosaur” (featuring a Paleolithic spin on "The Night Before Christmas") fans can download the “Dino Dan: Dino Player” app from the Apple iTunes Store. The app then brings the DVD cover to life, with a Tyrannosaurus Rex “jumping” off the box in 3D and making stomping and roaring noises.

The app was developed by Sinking Ship Interactive, part of Sinking Ship Entertainment, producers of the “Dino Dan” series, which airs on Nick Jr.
