Shake Shack continues its expansion into the U.K. with new licensed partnerships.

According to The Caterer, the licensed Shake Shack venue at Gatwick Airport is the result of a new partnership between TRG Concessions and U.K. brand operator Diverse Dining.

Shake Shack is a new challenger brand to the U.K. burger market. Now with an arm in one of the country’s busiest airports, the new restaurant opened today adding to 10 existing Shake Shacks in the U.K.

In 2018, Gatwick saw the arrival and departure of 46.1 million passengers, a location so valued, the SSP Group has bought celebrity chef Jamie Oliver’s on-site restaurants to bring the three sole restaurants back to life.
