LIT Licensing Agency has announced it has been appointed the licensing agent for Cambridge University & Museums and Botanic Garden, offering access to a variety of works of art, science, artefacts, books and strong sports heritage.
“Representing Cambridge and allowing us to invite potential Licensees to access and bring to consumers such unique content that carries forward true stories from the past to modern time is a rare and very exciting opportunity,” says Eva Karlsson, managing partner, LIT. “It is especially rewarding that the revenue goes back into the museums.”
“With over 800 years of making great discoveries, the University of Cambridge is a multi-faceted collegiate brand that provides licensees with the rare opportunity to access a historic University trademark, its unique science and arts content, and elite sporting icons,” says Len Dunne, chief executive officer, Fitzwilliam Museum Enterprises, University of Cambridge. “LIT Licensing will help us bring all of this to life, develop the licensing program in Northern Europe and support our existing licensees."
