Sanrio Builds Character Lines

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Little Twin Stars characters, Sanrio will partner with American Greetings Properties for a collaboration with Care Bears. The partnership has already launched in Japan with an assortment of lifestyle products and an experiential pop-up cafe, and will be making its way to the U.S. this holiday season. The program will kick off with a fashion collection designed by JapanLA Clothing Company featuring Little Twin Stars and Care Bears together in a series of cute and whimsical graphics.

Sanrio has also introduced some new food products including the Hello Kitty Kikkoman Soy Sauce Dispenser bottle, which will make its debut in the U.S. this summer. Additionally, PicCollage will be releasing Hello Kitty sticker sets globally this month for both iOS and Android devices.  

For the junior's sector, Vinca will work with Sanrio to create laser-cut jewelry including bangles, earrings, necklaces and rings that will feature characters Hello Kitty, Little Twin Stars, My Melody, Badtz-Maru and Chococat.

Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Chococat, Badtz-Maru, My Melody and Little Twin Stars will also be featured on kids' and adult fashion caps from Brick Brick featuring the brand's signature interchangeable front plate for easy customization.

Meanwhile, new collection of Hello Kitty junior's sportswear from The Classic Brand has also launched, as have premium lockable storage solution cases including pencil boxes, binder pouches, electronic cases and storage cases from Vaultz-Idea Stream. Finally, Kid O will launch a specialty line of infant and kids toys featuring Hello Kitty.
