Popcorn the Bear Heads to Russia

Icon Promotion, part of the Simba Dickie Group, has signed the first deal for Popcorn the Bear in Russia.

BG Company will create a stationery range that will include notebooks, diaries and albums.

“This is the start of Popcorn the Bear entering the world of children and parents in Russia,” says Vadim Nayman, president, Icon Promotion, which represents the brand in Russia and the CIS. “We are negotiating several more deals and our aim is to make Popcorn the Bear a household name throughout Russia.”

Other sub-agents for the brand, which is owned by Bright Star Characters, include LID-Group in Brazil and Kaynak Licensing in Turkey.
