Warner Bros. Consumer Products has unveiled two new collaborations for Looney Tunes that have brought the classic characters to a U.K. playground and New York Fashion Week.

The U.K.’s first Looney Tunes and DC Super Friends playground, which was created with licensee Park Leisure, opened Friday in New Tredegar, South Wales.

The playground features a series of branded play zones reflecting the essence of the brands’ different characters including a Looney Tunes chase unit, a Tweety and Sylvester spring see saw, a Batman cyclone and a Superman climbing frame and slide.

“Park Leisure have done an incredible job of bringing these brands to life. This is a great way for fans to play alongside their favorite characters, and it will introduce the brands to new generations,” says Paul Bufton, general manager, WBCP U.K. “Judging by the smiles on the faces of the children, this playground will have a special place in the lives and memories of local families and we’re thrilled to be part of that.”

Across the pond, fashion duo Phillipe and David Blond, creators the design label The Blonds, will debut their Tweety-inspired 2014 spring/summer line today at New York Fashion Week, Tweety: The Original Blonde.

“We have always been visually drawn to Tweety’s oversized blue eyes, lashes and amazingly bright colors. Tweety’s innocence to me always had a mischievous and unpredictable side to it that is endearing and captured our imaginations,” says David Blond.

“We are excited to partner with The Blonds to lend Tweety’s sassy and smart attitude as inspiration for what will be an avant-garde take on a truly original character,” says Karen McTier, executive vice president, domestic licensing and worldwide marketing, WBCP.
