Branded merchandise from Toynami, Loungefly and Mighty Fine is now available at the pop-culture retailer.

NORTH AMERICA–The Icelandic character-based lifestyle brand Tulipop and Hot Topic have teamed up for an exclusive retail launch in the U.S.

Through the agreement, Hot Topic will now stock a variety of Tulipop merchandise from the brand’s U.S. licensing partners–including Toynami for collectibles and plush, accessories from Loungefly and apparel from Mighty Fine. Additional ranges–including stationery from Pyramid, socks from Mad Dog and bedding from Jay Franco–will launch next year.

Tulipop’s latest licensing partnerships were brokered by the brand’s U.S. agents Sage Licensing Group alongside Playlife Company.

Furthermore, to celebrate the partnership, Tulipop has created a street art project in Los Angeles. The street art project features a variety of Tulipop characters on the Venice Art Walls.

“After building Tulipop in Iceland for the last seven years and opening our first Tulipop shop in Reykjavík, we knew we wanted to bring the world of Tulipop to the U.S.,” says Signý Kolbeinsdóttir, co-founder and head illustrator, Tulipop. “For us, Hot Topic’s cool style and established presence in the American market made them our ideal retail partner. We are thrilled to have Tulipop’s quirky, colorful characters popping up in shops across the country.”

Tulipop is now available at more than 600 Hot Topic locations in the U.S. as well as online at HotTopic.com.
