Popeye will adorn a limited-edition collection of apparel and wares from Filson and King Features Syndicate.

This latest fashion collaboration for the sailor is Popeye’s second with Filson, and it features three unisex t-shirts, one unisex hoodie, a wool cap, an enamel pin set and a pint glass set.

“We love the personality and character of everyone’s favorite spinach-loving sailor, and this collaboration was a natural fit for both brands, which are well-respected at the docks,” says Alex Carleton, chief creative officer, Filson. “Following the success of our first collection with Popeye in 2019, we’re thrilled to offer fans of these American classics new designs.”

The neutral color palette, consisting of whites, greys and blacks, is offset by occasional pops of color like Popeye’s trademark blue, his green spinach and the yellow of Bluto’s pants. Filson’s collection is available now at

“We are thrilled to be continuing our collaborative relationship with Filson on this latest endeavor,” says Jarred Goro, vice president, North American licensing, King Features Syndicate. “Filson's rich history and rugged appeal make the brand a perfect fit for Popeye, and we know fans will love seeing him brought to life in this fun, vintage-looking collection."
