FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment has signed a string of new licensing deals for the classic Danger Mouse brand, based on the original animated TV series.

FMKFE owns the global TV and licensing rights to "Danger Mouse" and is partnering with BBC to reboot the series on CBBC this year.

New partners for the brand include Wow! Stuff as master gift licensee; TVMFashion Lab for apparel, underwear and nightwear; Misirli UK for socks; Paul Lamond for a collection of puzzle and card games and Casa Chicos for retro babywear.

These new licensees join a roster of partners that also includes Global Licensing for apparel, Hype for greetings cards, WG Wholesale Gifts for gifts, Funshack for dress-up, Stickems for mobile phone cases and stickers and 151 for car air fresheners.

FMKFE’s licensing division is currently securing partners for two different Danger Mouse brands: one for the classic property aimed at adults who remember the original series and a second for the upcoming new series targeted to children.

“The announcement of the new series has reignited a passion for classic Danger Mouse, and we are thrilled to announce these new deals for our dashing spy hero," says Pindy O’ Brien, vice president, brand licensing and retail, U.K., FMKFE. "Our new partners will create a selection of fantastic retro products that will provide the perfect complement to our existing range.”
