Secured by AGP’s regional licensing agent, Wild Pumpkin, Licensing Essentials is planning a line of stationery, accessories, housewares and show bags.
“Boasting some of the most passionate Care Bears fans in the world, Australia has become an extremely important region,” says Carla Silva, senior vice president, global licensing, AGP. “We’re thrilled to grow the brand by delivering a range of exciting products and a variety of entertainment opportunities to the property’s legions of fans Down Under.”
Other activity for the brand in Australia include a plush program that was launched by Hasbro this spring; the new series, “Welcome to Care-a-Lot,” is set to air on Network 11; and Entertainment Store is planning a series of Care Bears character meet-and-greets at retail locations across the country.
