"My mom used to work at MAC – I think that was her first job – and she would bring me there as a little girl all the time," Demie told
Elle."I remember she had to do a 10-minute crazy editorial makeup look in front of the entire store to get the job, and she used me as her model."
The collection includes an all-new eyeshadow formula called the dazzleshadow extreme, along with a revamp of the original MAC eyeshadows in 36 different shades. Along with the eyeshadows, the line features another new product, a fiber eyebrow boosting gel.
“When MAC approached me to be part of their ‘More Than Meets the Eye’ campaign, I was beyond ecstatic,” says Demie. “I couldn’t think of a more iconic brand to collaborate with! In the collection,
I fell in love with all the colorful eyeshadows, especially the blues, greens and pinks that made it so much fun to create beautiful eye looks.”The joint venture is available online and in MAC stores now.
