Co-branded line will highlight the emoticon brand’s classic icon as well as Palm Angels’ logo.
The new line consists of hoodies, t-shirts, sneakers and a wind breaker jacket, as well as a range of Smiley badges. The range also highlights a modern rework of the classic Smiley icon by replacing the eyes with a P & A to signify the Palm Angels logo.
“Smiley continues to do very well in the high-end tier and we always attract the most creative designers in the world to come up with great Smiley products,” says Nicolas Loufrani, chief executive officer, Smiley. “We are very unique because we are as successful with women as with men. The collaboration with Palm Angels really epitomizes the deep roots of Smiley in luxury fashion and we are very proud to have been part of their catwalk show and to be distributed in the best department stores and boutiques across the world thanks to this new collaboration.”
