Branded footwear will celebrate both Smiley’s 45th and Palladium’s 70th anniversary.

Smiley and global footwear brand Palladium have joined forces to create a festival footwear collection in honor of both brands’ anniversary this year.

Through the collaboration, Palladium’s most iconic style, the Pampa Hi boot, will be emblazoned with Smiley’s famous icon and will come in two different colors, black and yellow. The shoe also features a removable zip pocket, which the company claims is ideal for storing festival essentials.

"This is a great partnership for us which showcases the substantial opportunities that are available when partnering with Smiley in footwear, which continues to be a growth area for our business,” says Nicolas Loufrani, chief executive officer, Smiley. “I believe this collaboration ticks all the boxes; authentic, commercial and cool, which are just the types of projects that we are using to leverage our 45th anniversary to ensure our partners sell more products. I personally love this partnership as it brings together two brands deeply rooted in music, music festivals and 1990’s pop culture, and showcases the influence we have had on the grunge and rave scenes for nearly three decades."

The Smiley brand will celebrate its 45th anniversary this year while Palladium will celebrate its 70th.
