The popular emoticon brand will be highlighted across publishing and plush keyrings.
Under the terms of the agreement, the publishing company will create 20 different Emoji-themed magazines that will contain one of 20 collectible keychains. Each magazine will also include a scannable cover that can be synced with an app to unlock mini games and trivia games.
“We are excited to team up with Productos Editoriales de Colección,” says Marco Hüsges, chief executive officer, The Emoji Company. “Our partner created a truly 360-degree experience with this product. You can read the magazine, complete trivia games and activities, collect digital icons, decorate your photos and share them on social media, and collect the keyring plushes.”
The line will be available to the Mexican market at retail stores such as Walmart, Sanborns, Chedraui and Liverpool, as well as in in main street corner kiosks.
