The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has entered into agreements with florist Philippa Craddock for a faux flower range and fashion label People Tree for a new line of apparel.
Craddock will produce a line of fake flowers inspired by V&A’s collection of botanical illustrations that includes various flora and foliage as well as wild meadow flowers and tropical stems. Each flower is hand-painted and can be used as a single stem or in a bouquet.
Most recently, Craddock’s floral designs were featured at the royal wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The Philippa Craddock faux flower collection is available online at PhilippaCraddock.com
V&A has paired with People Tree once again for a third collaborative apparel line.
Inspired by the 1930s, the line features period-specific silhouettes and nature-inspired prints across eight pieces—a jumpsuit, shirt dress, top and pants, available in two prints.
The jumpsuit and shirt dress are available now at the V&A Fashion Shop. Additional pieces can be purchased online at PeopleTree.co.uk.
