The London Studio Announces U.S. Agent for Art of Drag Brand
Firefly Brand Management brings fast-growing licensing program to major new market.
The London Studio has appointed Firefly Brand Management as the U.S. agent for its Art of Drag brand.
Following an agreement signed during Licensing Expo, Firefly Brand Management will bring Art of Drag to the American and Canadian markets for the first time.
Art of Drag is all about reimagining famous artworks featuring cultural female icons, who are then replaced with drag artists. Each original Art of Drag artwork features a drag queen, created by an award-winning independent art house of LGBTQ+ artists and allies.
The wide range of famous artworks is expected to translate across multiple product categories in the U.S. and Canada. Firefly is planning a licensing campaign that will include partners in apparel, accessories, home décor and stationery.
The agreement with Firefly follows several significant U.K. deals for Art of Drag and The London Studio, which this year have seen the Art of Drag brand appear on six Art of Drag images from independent wall art company, Tall Boy Prints, T-shirts from retailer boohooMAN, and 2024 calendars, jigsaws and foiled embossed notebooks from independent publisher, Flame Tree Publishing. Other Art of Drag U.K. deals are in the pipeline, with more announcements planned soon.
