Yu-Gi-Oh! Launches Facebook Game

Konami Digital Entertainment has released the new “Yu-Gi-Oh! BAM” Facebook game, which combines the most popular elements of the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise with the social gaming platform.

The new game includes more than 300 specially modified cards and the opportunity for players to duel their friends.

“The core elements of Yu-Gi-Oh!, including specialist cards, dueling and strategy, remain central to ‘BAM,’ but are further enhanced by a social media channel that allows for an accessible and intense gaming experience,” says Takeshi Minagawa, executive producer, Konami. “‘BAM’ is an addictive new way for the social networking and Facebook generation to experience the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. ‘BAM’ is a great entry-level introduction to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game.”

Yu-Gi-Oh! fans can also watch two different series on TheCW4Kids programming block–the new “Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexel” animated series and classic “Yu-Gi-Oh!” episodes.
