The Wish Factory has signed on as a licensee for teen boy band, One Direction, in a deal brokered by Global Merchandising Services.

The Wish Factory will manufacture a line of affordable 1D novelties and accessories with a price range of $5 to $15. The line will include wristbands, 3D clip-ons, key chains, dog tags and dioramas.

In addition, The Wish Factory will also produce a collection of 1D products for its own Pop Grrl brand, featuring fashion items for girls.

The new 1D merchandise will begin rolling out in September.

"We're so excited to be partnered with Global Merchandising Services on a collection of 1D licensed product, which consumers are craving," says Scott Bachrach, president, The Wish Factory. "Since the debut of their first album, 1D has been the hottest and most popular boy band in the music business, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to be associated with such a popular and talented young band.”
