Rabbit Tanaka and The Northwest Company have been tapped by Viz Media to produce home décor lines in North America based on "Vampire Knight."
Rabbit Tanaka is on board to design themed clocks, lamps, puzzle cubes and wall décor (canvas, 3-D, lenticular and mirror). Meanwhile, The Northwest Company will produce throw blankets, standard pillowcases, beach towels and blankets with sleeves.
"Vampire Knight," based on the gothic-romance manga series by Matsuri Hino, follows two groups of students who attend Cross Academy—the Day Class (non-vampires) and the Night Class (vampires).
Both product lines will be available this summer at mass, mid-tier, specialty, catalog and online channels.
