Turner Adds Channels in Asia

Turner Broadcasting System Asia Pacific has announced plans to expand its kids’ entertainment portfolio with the launch of the Toonami and Cartoonito channels in Southeast Asia.

Toonami features action and anime entertainment for both boys and girls. Cartoonito will be based on the European channel of the same name.

Both channels are slated to launch in early 2013, and will join Turner’s existing kids channels, Cartoon Network, Boomerang and POGO.
