Canadian licensing agency, Studio Licensing, and its new U.S. strategic partner,

Established Brands Licensing, have entered Licensing Expo with an arsenal of entertainment brands and an extensive set of new deals.

For North America, its brand portfolio includes the popular app “Cut the Rope,” Angel Cat Sugar, the first new character after nearly 30 years from the original creator of Hello Kitty and Lolligag, a Kawaii-inspired pop‐art character brand.

For Canada, Studio Licensing has rights to the National Basketball Association, Elvis Presley and Stupid Factory Studios, a wacky mix of content and character properties by Todd Goldman.

“Cut the Rope” is poised for growth with a large North American consumer products program that started rolling out this spring. Top licensees include Mattel (Apptivity game), Hasbro (co-branded board games), Jakks Pacific (plug-and-play), Round 5 (plush and figures), LF USA and NTD Apparel Canada (sleepwear, outerwear, loungewear, underwear, swimwear, fashion),

Franco Manufacturing (bedding, throws, bath towels) and Simply Natural Foods (fruit snacks, gummies and hard candy) with many more deals being finalized.

After strong international success, Angel Cat Sugar is ready to fly into the homes and infants and young girls across North America this fall. Key licensees include Millennium Products Group (room decor, party goods, outdoor toys, activities, accessories), Black & White (footwear), Decopac (cake decorations and kits) and Danawares (plush, puzzles, games).

In Canada, the agencies are set to launch a game‐changing consumer products program for the NBA this fall. Recently signed licensees include Gillyboo (toy and activity sets), X‐Treme Worldwide (men’s apparel, loungewear, sleepwear) and Gertex Hosiery (hosiery and accessories).

And Elvis Presley is ready to rock Canadian retail, with products that started to roll out this spring. The launch comes during the 35th anniversary of the icon. Licensees signed include X‐Treme Worldwide (infant/toddler sleepwear, ladies and men’s apparel, glassware, bar accessories, Christmas items), Calego (luggage, bags and accessories) and Primemotion (collectible puzzles).

Both Studio Licensing and Established Brands will be at Booth 6314 at the Licensing Expo this week in Las Vegas, Nev.
