Sony Re-Issues 1979 Star Trek Soundtrack

Sony Music and Paramount Pictures have partners with La-La Land Records to re-issue the soundtrack to the 1979 Star Trek film in a deluxe three CD set. The Jerry Goldsmith’s theme music from the first Star Trek film was later used as the main theme for the TV series “Star Trek: The Next Generation.”

The deluxe CD set presents the score for the 1979 theatrical release, full restores, as well as a wealth of bonus material.
