Skinit Names New VP

Skinit, a provider of technology and products to customize personal electronic devices, has appointed Fredrik Torstensson as vice president of sales and business development.

Torstensson will manage the company’s relationships with customers worldwide and will identify avenues for growth, new technology and market opportunities.

“Frederik is a strong addition to our leadership team and he joins at a critical point in our company’s rapid growth and expansion,” says Darrin Hegemier, chief strategy officer. “He brings a wealth of experience in the consumer electronics, OEM and wireless industry and a record of business leadership driving revenue-generating strategies.”

Torstensson brings 20 years of experience to the role, holding prior positions as president and chief executive officer of Comarco Wireless, a vice president role at Kyocera Wireless and was formerly director of sales and business development for Ericsson North America.
